Eminem stars in Black Mafia Family crime miniseries

Many years later, the famous rapper Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers, will once again show himself as an actor. This time in an upcoming miniseries Black mafia family channel Starzproduced by his longtime friend and colleague 50 Cent

The actor will play the cameo role of Richard Vershey Jr., also known as White Boy Rick, who became famous in the 1980s for becoming the youngest FBI informant at the age of 14-16. At 17, the young informant was imprisoned for life for selling drugs and weapons, and in July last year, the now 52-year-old Richard Vershey was released on parole.

Based on true events, the Black Mafia Family follows two brothers who formed one of the most influential criminal gangs in Detroit in the 1980s. The 8-episode series is expected to premiere 23 September on the Starz channel.

Eminem was last seen on screens in the 2002 drama “The Eight Mile”, where he played the main role. In 2003, the tape was awarded an Oscar for the best song – “Lose Yourself”. After that, the artist appeared only as a cameo in such films as “Interview”, “Funny People” and the TV series “Handsome”.
