The psychological thriller that debuted on November 20 “Locked up” from Sarah Paulson starring became the streaming platform’s most popular feature length film Hulu by performance in the starting weekend, as well as the most discussed picture on the social network Twitter, according to the portal Deadline

Originally a company Lionsgate planned to release “Locked” in theaters on Mother’s Day, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the picture “moved” to the Hulu streaming service, where it unexpectedly became a real hit among all the original projects of the platform.

The plot of the film, directed by Anish Chaganti, focuses on a single mother named Diana, played by the star of the series “American Horror Story“Sarah Paulson, caring for her disabled daughter Chloe (Kirra Allen), however, she soon discovers some sinister secret, after which she has a desire to escape from her hyper-caring mother.
