As it appears, Xiaomi preparing a new reader Mi Ebook Reader with a screen on electronic ink. The device is listed on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) website. The novelty, judging by the description, has a quad-core processor Allwinner, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory.
In the database, the device passes under the code designation XMDKDZS02MA, and there is only a mention of support for the Bluetooth 5.0 standard.
It is assumed that the novelty will receive a 6-inch screen E ink and a battery of about 1500 mAh. Also, most likely the novelty will appear on the international market.
But there is no data on the operating system of the reader yet – it can be either Android or a custom version of Linux. There is also no list of supported formats and prices. The novelty is expected to hit the market before the end of the quarter.
