A World of Warcraft player drew a map of Azeroth with a realistic climate. The author, under the nickname Amnikarr13, noted that the mainland Northrend, which appeared in the game with the addition of Wrath of the Lich King, has the most similarity to Europe.

The author also noted that the position of the main continents of Azeroth – Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms – is about the same as that of Africa, and, according to him, this means that they are influenced by the same type of winds as real Africa, that is, arid in the north and south of the continent, but wet in the center. When drawing Pandaria, the author took into account the tilt of the planet’s axis and its influence on the seasons in the southern hemisphere. It turns out that the mainland from Mists of Pandaria most likely has a climate like New Zealand, Tazmania or the tip of South America.

Formerly a World of Warcraft fan suggestedthat upon returning from the Dark Lands, all key characters may find that hundreds of years have passed in Azeroth – the game map will change as much as possible. The gamer presented his own view of the development of the plot and called the concept “World of Warcraft 2”.
