Windows Central: Warner Bros. prepares for sale the creators of Mortal Kombat

According to preliminary data, the company intends to get rid of the studios NetherRealm (Mortal kombat, Injustice) and TT Games (video games licensed Lego). According to Corden, he received copies of documents confirming the information.

It is not known exactly how the sale of the studios will be implemented. Presumably the combined company Warner Bros. Discovery will retain rights to franchises, including Mortal Kombat.

At the end of June it became known that the publishing house Electronic Arts bought the studio from WB Games for $ 1.5 billion Playdemicknown for its mobile game Golf clash… It was also announced that the decision is related to the implementation of “an overall strategy for creating games based on the legendary Warner Bros. franchises.”
