Mass protests in the United States continue to influence the gaming industry. After disruption presentations Playstation 5 polish studio CD Projekt RED announced today that it will not conduct the scheduled broadcast on June 11 Night city wire with showing Cyberpunk 2077as previously reported. At the same time, the event will still take place, but later – June 25th. The deadlines have moved forward two weeks.
In an official post on the Cyberpunk 2077 page, the developers made the following statement:
We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

It is not known whether this will somehow affect the release date, but so far the game is still planned for release. September 17th.
Mass unrest in the United States has also caused the start of new seasons in Call of Duty games to be postponed. Electronic Arts and Google for the same reason canceled the displays of Madden NFL 20 and Android 11.
