Bookmaker Rating bet on the second day of the group stage
Virtus.pro vs. Thunder Predator
Yes, Virtus.pro are real beasts. As if the grizzlies grabbed their rivals on the first game day and did not give a single card. Yes, of course, the first meeting of the first day turned out to be more of a pass-through – the difference in class between the “crypts” is too great Fishman‘a and “Bears”.
But it got from the “bears” and Spirit – yes, of course, the “Dragons” partly threw the first meeting by themselves, taking on the one hand a working one in the new patch, and on the other – not a simulated strategy with Keeper of the Light. Moreover, as the guys from Tundra have clearly shown, it is much better to implement KOTL through the mid, and not through the offlane. However, on the second map, everything was more than traditional, and contrary to expectations, VP turned out to be stronger in standard conditions. Outdraft and the best performance in micro-moments. Is this not the firm hand of the new coach?
As for the Peruvians, there are many questions to their game now. The team is clearly not in their best shape, and if they do not want to leave TI in six weeks in the first days, then they urgently need to change something in their approach to the game. After all, a no-chance defeat from Tundra and the given card to Creepwave are definitely not the achievements that you want to add to your asset. Maybe we won’t see a tilt from hot South American guys, but the difference in class with VP was felt, and clearly – in the match with Creepwave. So here the “bears” should have an easy walk.
Bid: ₽1,000 for Virtus.pro to win with odds of 1.55.
T1 vs. Creepwave
There were mixed feelings about playing T1 on the first day of ESL One Fall. On the one hand, the team didn’t look so bad. On the other hand, at decisive moments, something was invariably lacking. If 23savage and the company wants to repeat the success of the ESL Summer Tournament – it’s time to get smart now. And you can’t imagine a better moment than playing with a weaker opponent. On the one hand, no one is immune from “kooky” with a weak opponent. On the other hand, T1 is obliged to take here in class, even when playing without a keyboard, with all due respect to Fishman and ATF. We bet on T1 to win.
Bid: ₽500 to win T1 with odds of 1.50.
PSG.LGD vs beastcoast
The jolly opponent went to PSG.LGD in the first match of the tournament. Perhaps, it would be better to start and warm up on Team Empire. beastcoast is periodically able to turn on the “beast” mode and destroy almost any opponent. However, for the South American team, this match will also be the first in the tournament, and you definitely won’t wish an enemy like PSG.LGD to start. Yes, on the one hand, the Chinese will play with a substitution. With another – Xiao8 still something that he showed in the series with Team Aster on the victorious OGA DotaPit for LGD – the second map there ended in 13 minutes. Yes, the “director” conditionally lost to mid both times, but he looked pretty good in his Pangolier, and he will obviously not be the key figure in the strategy of the Chinese. Perhaps it is worth taking the risk and betting on PSG.LGD to win. Moreover, the last face-to-face meeting of the teams ended precisely with a score of 2: 0.
Bid: ₽500 to win PSG.LGD with odds of 1.55.
Alliance vs SG esports
Every match on the second day is with a clear favorite. Here it is Alliance. Yes, of course, SG managed to squeeze out a draw in the meeting with Team Liquid on the first game day, but gradually it seems that Liquid is not very interested in this tournament in terms of the result. For Liquid, the season has already ended with a missing TI, and the ESL tournament for them is more likely an opportunity not to sour completely. So we can add a draw SG not only and not so much to the assets of the Brazilians as to the liabilities of Liquid.
As for Alliance, they walked as an asphalt paver over the weakest team in Group B – Team Empire. True, there were some not very positive moments. It remains to be hoped that Nikobaby answered for these two cards and will no longer perform as in the song of Mikhail Krug on his Faceless Void, because what he periodically threw out did not please the souls of Alliance fans at all. But even if it does, Alliance are obliged to take this match. We bet Alliance to win.
Bid: ₽500 for Alliance to win with odds of 1.55.
Team Spirit vs. Tundra Esports
“Stop tilting, please.” This is the phrase Airat should say to his guys after the defeat to Virtus.pro. Yes, we tested a new strategy with KOTL. Yes, they threw in the second card. But there was also a positive on the first day – we were able to comeback on the second map with T1, and in general they looked good, even if we relaxed too early, almost losing after megacreeps. The tournament did not end with VP’s defeat for Spirit, and their play, as always, looks a breeze.
As for Tundra, they also managed to take two cards from T1, adding to that the victory over Thunder Predator. The grand final of the TI qualifiers was not accidental, the team really looks pretty good, plus they returned to the roster Sneyking, so they have more than chances of a successful tournament. Reason, of course, says that Tundra is quite capable of taking at least one card from Spirit, but the heart is for Spirit. This time we will listen to the heart.
Bid: ₽500 for Team Spirit to win with odds of 2.90.
T1 vs. Thunder Predator
If you look at the first day of the tournament, then, perhaps, this is one of the most equal pairs on the second game day, but that was not the case – T1, even though powerless in the key moments of the first game day, generally looked stronger than the Peruvians. There is probably no need to paint a lot in this pair, just put on the reigning champions of the ESL tournament, especially since they should warm up so well in the match with Creepwave, and TP after the match with Virtus.pro may not be in the best psychological shape.
Bid: ₽500 to win T1 with odds of 1.95.
Team Liquid vs. Beastcoast
Perhaps, much in the question of the forecast for this match will depend on how beastcoast will show themselves in the match with PSG.LGD, but even despite the outcome of this meeting, one thing can be said already now – Liquid’s motivation clearly leaves much to be desired. Will this be enough “beast” to win? It’s hard to tell. But they simply have to take one card here.
Bid: ₽500 to win beastcoast with card handicap (+0.5) with odds of 1.50.
PSG.LGD vs. Team Empire
Well, the final match in Group B will be a meeting that can be called a benefit performance of the Chinese Dota. With all due respect to Team Empire, in the match with Alliance their level was more than indicative – even outright quirks from Nikobaby did not end up turning into points scored. PSG is likely to get worse. We are waiting for light “two by 20” from the Chinese team.
Bid: ₽1,000 to win PSG.LGD with odds of 1.38.
RuHub bet on the second day of the group stage
Alliance vs SG esports
“Aliki” started powerfully, they simply tore apart the Empire, they are ready perfectly and will be fully charged for TI, and now they are just testing a new patch. SG is a rather unstable team, and I would never believe in a victory from them in bo3, but in bo2 there is a chance for a draw, albeit a small one.
Bid: ₽500 for a draw with odds of 3.31.
Team Spirit vs. Tundra Esports
The teams are strong and equal, at the last D2CL Spirit were stronger, but at ESL Tundra plays with a full roster, and therefore should be stronger than at the Champions League. After seeing how “Dragons” skidded in the second game with T1, and how the Europeans played, I still bet on Tundra. Yes, and the last dot-scopes, it just so happened that I did with these commands and Tundra proved to be very strong, while Spirit very often gives a start.
Bid: ₽500 to win Tundra Esports at 4.00 odds.
Team Liquid vs. Beastcoast
Bistas can traditionally shoot on LANe, but Liquid now, as it seems to me? are far from being in the best shape. They lost their strength at the DPC, and after the DPC one should not expect an incredible performance from them, on the other hand, bc, who flew to Romania and are charged to play 100%, especially since they have already shown themselves as a completely combat-ready team.
Bid: ₽500 to win beastcoast with odds of 4.20.
PSG.LGD vs. Team Empire
LGD are incredibly strong, they just won the OGA DotaPit, although they play with a substitute and love to swerve in the group, I don’t even believe that they can lose to the Empire or draw. I think that this is the most chanceless couple, only the factor of replacement, acclimatization and relaxation due to the group gives ghostly hope.
Bid: ₽500 to win PSG.LGD with odds of 1.38.
