Volta-X players will be able to meet regardless of platform – review

Company GungHo confirmed that real-time strategy Volta-X will support cross-platform play between Nintendo Switch and PC. Owners of both platforms will be able to meet, unite in groups and clans, and fight for a place in the rankings.

They will be allowed to try the game live this summer. GungHo will open up a temporary limited access on PC, during which players will be able to get acquainted with the story campaign, fight in PvP battles, and test the character settings and their skills.

In the meantime, for those interested in the plot of Volta-X, the first webcomic has been released. It focuses on the backstories of two characters in the game, Ian and Sheldon. Both are about to graduate from Volta Academy, but first, they need to get themselves giant robots at any cost to participate in the tournament.

The creators of the game are going to continue the story of the heroes and villains of Volta-X, they have planned a whole series of comics in the recognizable art style of the game.
