Videogame Porn Avengers: Marvel’s Avengers Co-op Review

Captain America looks like a major underdog due to limited mobility: he knows how to double jump and run up walls in the manner of Prince of persia, but the locations are built in such a way that he constantly cannot climb higher, and the walls are poorly designed.

As a result, Hulk remains, who has a long jump, can climb and heal through blows, but because of his impressive height is an easy target for opponents, as well as Kamala Khan, who can be attracted to the object with his hands, cause increased damage and has the ability to heal. Well, my personal choice – Black Widow, who is armed with a grappling hook, can become invisible and has three types of pistols, as a result of which the gameplay for her resembles a cross between two generations of the series Tomb raider from the same Crystal Dynamics.

There is pumping in the game, but it will not work to radically transform the gameplay. Yes, the developers have provided special skills, inside which you can switch modifiers (three for each). Let’s say the Widow is given an increase in melee damage, ranged power, or select a universal profile.

In addition, some abilities are modifiable. For example, instead of firing a shock discharge, an electric shock appears, and a grenade can change the status effect. The advantage of the heroine is the ability to teach her how to knock out healers from characters when finishing off, which partially solves the problem of restoring health in difficult battles.

The key indicator when completing a mission is the Power indicator, which is analogous to the Light from Destiny. It can be increased by knocking out new equipment and artifacts, as well as pumping existing ones (up to 10 levels), which will also open up additional passive or active bonuses. But in the end, everything is expressed in changing the numbers, because the received objects are not displayed in any way on the characters.

Do you want to change the appearance of the hero, purchase animations and so on? Welcome to the in-game store! The game will give out several skins during the passage and pumping, others can be purchased from the vendor at decent prices. The cherry on top of the cake, in addition to the aforementioned outlet, is also individual battle passes for each character, which can be pumped in for real currency or performed daily (two daily and two weekly). However, progress is counted extremely crookedly, and descriptions can lead to a stupor. If the player did not manage to complete the daylik on time, then the progress is reset and a new task is issued.

Moreover, the game is not always worth the candle. A significant part of Captain America’s appearance looks as shabby as, for example, a naked torso with patient’s pants, and the same Hulk is the champion in the number of the most ridiculous skins.

However, if you figured out all this, then the main barrier starts – the cooperative itself, which barely works. The GameMAG editors did not mention this point in the first review, since it was problematic to find players before the release. Only after the release of Avengers, the situation did not improve.

Matchmaking constantly fails, it often has to be restarted manually, and apparently there are very few players. Therefore, during the first four days, finding at least one random ally was a great success. At the same time, they all somehow played for Captain America.

Later the situation improved slightly, but not much, because the search time sometimes reaches 10 minutes (even in prime time). In the course of communication, foreign gamers also complained that it was extremely difficult to find help in the game. There may be several reasons for this: autoleveling, due to which the game cannot find a suitable pair; search failures (I remind you that very often you need to manually cut in); and also a small number of people who bought Marvel’s Avengers.

The option “Quick play” was supposed to be the way out, but it also constantly fails. And after patch 1.06, released on September 9, this feature temporarily disappeared altogether. If during the session one of the players crashes due to problems with the network, then they will not be able to return to it again. Let me remind you that the game requires connection to servers and is positioned as a cooperative adventure.

As a result, you have to play with bots (up to three per session), but not everything is smooth here either. Since the beta, their AIs have been repaired, but problems with the inaccessibility of some zones in locations remain. The fact is that the same Widow is not trained to destroy doors (but she can break into terminals), behind which there may be hostages or a chest with loot, and bots cannot be ordered to strike a special blow.
