VGC: Lead Designer Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze Returns to Retro Studios

According to the site VideoGamesChronicle.com, lead designer Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Stephen Dupree after a two-year absence he returned to Retro studios.

Dupree devoted the company almost ten years of his life, and then left it in 2017. The last time a game designer worked in a Texas studio Playful corphelping create a platformer New Super Lucky’s Tale for Nintendo switch (average rating on Metacritic 75/100).

According to the site, Dupree took over as a game designer at Retro Studios, possibly as a team Metroid Prime 4.

It is worth noting that Dupree had never before been involved in the creation of the Metroid Prime trilogy. It is currently unclear whether the company is working on any projects other than Mp4.

It was previously reported that Retro Studios is looking for environmental developers for Metroid Prime 4.

Before Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Stephen worked on Donkey Kong Country Returns for Wii and Mario kart 7 for Nintendo 3DS. His career began with Turok evolution and The red star.
