Company 2K Games, as promised, today spoke in more detail about each game from the trilogy of reprints of criminal action games Mafia for Xbox one, Playstation 4 and PC.
Mafia: Definitive Edition
From scratch, created a remake of the 2002 classic on the new game engine. The project will offer completely updated graphics with support for 4K and HDR resolution, rewritten orchestral scores and voice acting, additional gameplay sequences and features, as well as expand the plot with new dialogs, cutscenes and details about characters who were given little time in the original “Mafia”. In addition, the developers scaled up Lost Haven, added collectibles, and among the available vehicles there will be motorcycles. It has already been confirmed that the game will be fully translated into Russian with text and voice acting.
“The original Mafia has changed the idea of how serious the story of a video game can be. We well understand how much fans in the series love this game,” said Hangar President and Creative Director Hayden Blackman. “The Mafia series of games was born almost 20 years ago, and now we have a unique chance to show this iconic game to a new generation of gamers. At the same time, old fans will be able to relive Tommy’s story – in excellent graphics, with new plot events, as well as an updated gameplay” .

Remake will be released August 28 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Steam and later will appear on the Epic Games Store. The first gameplay will be shown at the presentation PC gaming show in summer, June 6th.
The game will be available as part of the Mafia: Trilogy collection for $ 60, or for 40 separately. For pre-order, developers will present a Chicago kit with a Smith V12 Limousine car, a semi-automatic gold pistol and a Don suit.

Remaster with smart graphics in 4K / HDR and all the DLCs included. Already available for purchase on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $ 30, or as part of Mafia: Trilogy for $ 60. At the same time, owners of regular Mafia II on Steam can upgrade to Definitive Edition for free. Later, the game will be available to users of the Google Stadia and Epic Games Store.
