French company Ubisoft removed a previously published note from the official portal of your ecosystem Ubisoft Connect due to “inaccuracies in the games available on PS5 for backward compatibility “.
A Ubisoft spokesperson told IGN the following:
“We have currently removed the Ubisoft Connect article and forum post with information about backward compatibility. The point is that there may be inaccuracies in that list regarding Ubisoft games that can be run on PS5.”
What inaccuracies or errors are being discussed is not yet entirely clear.
A deleted note stated that these games will not be available on PS5 due to backward compatibility:
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate;
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack;
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles India;
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles China;
- Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Russia;
- Risk;
- Star Trek Bridge Crew;
- Werewolves Within;
- Space Junkies.
