Two Crucible modes out of three go “to rest” – review

At the end of May, the gaming division Amazon and team Relentless released in Steam team online shooter Crucible. But the release was unsuccessful: only 44% of the players left positive reviews, and the average score for Metacritic reached mark 54.
The developers decided not to give up and announced a whole program of transformations that should bring the game to normal. And the first thing they’ll send “to rest” is two game modes from the three existing ones.

Most often, players chose the Hearts of Hive mode, in which the team needed to collect three hearts to win, and to defeat the three hives. They are going to improve this mode by adding voice chat, a mini-map, the ability to surrender and a system of interaction with AFK players. They will also work on a player selection system, ping and frame rate.

After that, the entire Crucible key system will be reviewed. It would be much harder to do with three modes than with one. Developers will rely on the feedback and suggestions of players on the results of the first phase of the transformation.

Relentless promises to improve the game map, make opponents smarter, add more social interactions and allow you to configure match settings. The creators are confident that with the support of the community will be able to make Crucible “a great game.”
