Twitch promises to tell banned streamers what they’ve done

Twitch announcedthat will send each banned streamer a personal notification about the blocking of the channel, with information about which specific rules were violated.

Previously, the administration of the site issued bans without explaining the reasons, and the owners of the channels who tried to contact the support service received rather vague answers.

Twitch showed an example of this notifications: the user gets a ban for sending out video content that violates the rules of the site (this can be copyrighted materials, or relaying someone else’s streams). While the wording can be confusing, Twitch lists the specific title of the video and the date it was posted.
There is no doubt that the new site policy will be helpful. Last year, she could have helped clarify the banning of popular streamer Dr. Disrespect, the reasons for which are still unknown.
