A new beta version of the client was released last week Steam, in which the Remote Play Together function received support for users without a service account.
Recall that Remote Play Together allows you to play online games with friends with local multiplayer, co-op or split screen. The function is available on PC, as well as on iOS and Android mobile devices.
In the new beta version of the client, Steam users can copy a special link to connect to Remote Play Together, which can be obtained from the friends list in the overlay.
This link can then be sent to a friend who can connect to the game without a Steam account by installing the Steam Link app. Only one person can be invited using this method, however additional players can be invited through the friends list.
Now Remote Play Together supports almost 5 thousand games. For a complete list, follow the link.
