Development manager Resident Evil 4 Shinji Mikami first commented on a potential remake of the cult survivor horror, rumors about the development of which appeared in April.
In conversation with the publication IGN game designer shared his attitude to remakes, noting that he saw an updated version Resident evil 2and he liked her. Mikami believes that Capcom continue to upgrade old parts of Resident Evil as they sell well.
When asked about Resident Evil 4, which is now reportedly also being redesigned for new platforms, Mikami replied that on the whole he has nothing against such a project if it turns out to be of good quality.
IGN: Resident Evil 4 has been ported many times to different consoles, but some developers are firmly convinced that there are games that are made exactly the way they are. Can you assume that you have no problems so that your, as some would say the main thing, redone your work with a new team?
