As part of the announcement of financial results for the past year, the French publishing company Focus home interactive reported about the acquisition of the studio Deck13 Interactive. The transaction value amounted to 7.1 million euros.
Currently, Deck 13 employs about 60 people, and over the past 18 years the team has managed to develop more than 20 projects, among which the greatest success was achieved by the hardcore role-playing action game The Surge and its sequel. The publisher of these two games was just Focus home interactive.
In addition, it became known that Focus home interactive in the near future will present the first information about several of its future projects, starting with an extremely ambitious “cooperative online games in the ultrahard fantasy world” from studio Sumo digital. Its release is scheduled for the last quarter of 2023 – 2023.
The company is also preparing to show the first frames from “small pearls”developed by the team Limestone games, and plans to share news on two games of the Warhammer series (a tactical project from Gasket games and action from Streumon studio)
