A couple of days ago, there were fresh rumors about the new Call of Duty, and today the authoritative portal Eurogamer partially confirmed them.
Sledgehammer is indeed making the game, while the working title Vanguard could be the final subtitle. However, information about the events of World War II, which in the world of the game allegedly will not end in 1945, could not be confirmed.
“According to Eurogamer, this is not the case and Vanquard is a traditional WWII shooter.”
In addition, Eurogamer does not know about the plans of the developers to integrate new items with Call of Duty: Warzone… The creators of the battle royale still have not been able to figure out the unification Modern warfare and Black ops cold war – and here the next game in a new setting is already looming.
In its most recent quarterly report, Activision confirmed that it plans to release a fresh Call of Duty, but the company does not expect record sales from it.
