Draw distance announced an independent addition to its visual novel Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New Yorkthat got the subtitle Shadows of new york. The first teaser trailer can be seen below.
The developers note that both games combine the setting and most of the secondary characters, however, Shadows of New York, unlike the original, tells a more personal story of a clearly defined character (a member of the Lasombra clan) with its background and character.
According to the authors, in addition to the secondary characters in Shadows of New York, there will be references to the Coteries of New York, but the games can be played in any order.
