The Last of Us: Part II will take up a lot of space on your PS4 hard drive – new information and 8 minutes of gameplay

Tonight Sony Interactive Entertainment held a special broadcast State of playAdventure Action Short Review The Last of Us: Part II.

The demonstration was a combination of both fresh and old gameplay frames with additional explanations from the game director Neela Drakmann. The release ended with a demonstration of a completely new gameplay episode lasting 8 minutes, in which Ellie gets into a hospital occupied by hostile people in search of a certain Nora. In the process, they confirmed that the main character can swim in and under water, and showed a cameo PS Vita. The Sony portable console lit up for several seconds in the scene with the interrogation and murder of a girl who played on the console in top down shooter Hotline miami and didn’t notice Ellie sneaking up behind.

Along with this, updated information on the size of The Last of Us 2 appeared on Reddit. Earlier it was reported that to install the game you will need at least 100 GB of free space on your hard drive, however, the actual volume downloaded by the file for review copies is 78.3 GB. It is possible that the final version will weigh a little more, but it all depends on how big the patch of the first day will be.

The Last of Us: Part II Released June 19th exclusively on PlayStation 4.
