“The film was nowhere darker” – review

In an interview Collider screenwriter and producer Akiva Goldsman talked about his version of the script Batman vs. Superman, which worked at the beginning of the zero.

Batman was supposed to play in that movie Colin FarrellSuperman – Jude Law, and they planned to put him in the director’s chair Wolfgang Petersen (“Troy”).

The first version of the plot was written by a screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker (“Seven”), but in the end he left the project. After him, Goldsman took up the story. And, according to him, “she was darker than nowhere.”

According to plan, the film opened with a funeral scene Alfred. Bruce himself refused the identity of Batman, fell in love and married, but then killed his wife Joker. And then it turned out that all this, including the love line, from beginning to end was the villain’s plan to break Bruce.

According to Goldsman, ideas that successfully fit into the script format did not always work out in the end, and the vision of the studio and the authors could not be combined. Which, apparently, happened that time.
