Valve released a new beta version of the client Steam with an updated downloads page.
The developers point out:
- new design;
- color palette for the visually impaired;
- a queue that can be ordered using drag and drop;
- general progression (previously only the download progress was displayed, but not the process of allocating disk space);
- an icon next to the name of the game, which will display a tooltip with the content type of the update;
- and much more.
In addition, in the download settings (by clicking on the “Steam Library Folders” menu item) you can find a new storage manager. It can be used to delete games or move them to other discs.
Finally, Valve has released a new version of the Steam mobile app. Over the past few weeks, the team has improved and fixed several page errors. The developers will now test the new simplified design. The first changes were made to the game pages.
