Dotemu introduced a fresh trailer for bit’em up Streets of Rage 4, which showed the combat mode and revealed the release date of the game. The project will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 30 and will include the classic Battle mode, available in the second and third parts of the franchise.
The essence of the combat regime is as follows: in one of the eight arenas, heroes fight individually with each other, either alone or in a team, to find out which of them is stronger. The maximum number of participants is four people, you can choose any of 17 fighters.
The last part of Streets of Rage was released back in 1994. After more than 25 years, the legendary series returns, bringing with it improved graphics, new heroes and modernized gameplay.
For the creation of Streets of Rage 4, the studios DotEmu, Guard Crush Games and Lizardcube are responsible for giving the visual style a remake of Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap.
Streets of Rage 4 will be available on the Xbox Game Pass on release.
