Japanese studio Team ninjaknown for creating hardcore series Nioh and Ninja gaiden, expressed a desire to run on Playstation 5 brand new franchise. About this in an interview with the publication Eurogamer Portugal Team Leader Yosuke Hayashi said.
“The PlayStation 5 will open up new possibilities, and we would like to create a completely new game for this console – a product on new intellectual property,” Hayashi explained, without going into details.
The developer recalled that a series was launched on the PlayStation 4 Nioh. They want to start something else on the PlayStation 5.
“On PlayStation 4, we launched Nioh, and on PlayStation 5 we would like to continue creating new IPs.”
Hayashi did not specify whether work is already underway in this direction.
Yesterday, the studio said that it knew about the desire of fans to see Ninja Gaiden 4.
