Marvel’s avengers did not start as expected by Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics. The first few months after the launch of the project were characterized by the absence of major content updates, which entailed large financial losses for the publisher and a rapid churn of players.
However, if, in the case of the same Anthem, an unsuccessful launch led to the closure of the project, then the developers of Marvel’s Avengers, on the contrary, are ready to continue to invest in the game in an attempt to breathe new life into it.
As part of a recent Twitch stream, the developers from Crystal dynamics reported that they are committed to the future of the “Avengers” and are not going to stop supporting the game in the coming years… The studio is currently working on a number of things that they can’t wait to share with fans.
At the same time, next week, “The Avengers” will receive a new major update, which will not only add Hawkeye as a playable character, but also offer several other innovations, including balancing the progression, introducing custom HARM challenge rooms, and the ability to replay the campaign with preservation of the accumulated experience and loot. Update will appear 18th March simultaneously with the release of an improved version of Marvel’s Avengers for Xbox Series X / S and Playstation 5…
In addition, Spider-Man is set to appear in the game soon, becoming the first (and seemingly only) exclusive Marvel’s Avengers character for PlayStation consoles.
