Company Koei tecmo launched a special website dedicated to the twentieth anniversary of the series Dynasty warriors. The first of the games in the series, Dynasty warriors, came out in Japan on the PlayStation on February 28, 1997. But the creators have their countdown since 2000, with Dynasty warriors 2 for PlayStation 2.
The difference is due to the genre: the first of the games was an ordinary fighting game. Only from the second project, Dynasty Warriors 2, the authors began to make muso-fighters, characterized by super-powerful heroes who cope with huge armies of opponents.
The latest game of the main line, Dynasty warriors 9appeared in 2018. And in 2023, the company is going to release a new project as part of its most successful series. It is still unknown what awaits us, probably, the announcement will soon sound.
The producer of the Dynasty Warriors series, Akihiro Suzuki, also said in a special message that a number of special events await players in the anniversary year. In particular, one of them has already been announced: in Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These added costumes from Dynasty Warriors 9.
Also today, the Japanese release of the spin-off in the genre of musou Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikersover which Atlus worked together with Koei Tecmo.
