Within the Tokyo Game Show 2023 publishing house Square enix announced that an updated version of the game NieR Replicant goes on sale in the West on April 23, 2023. It will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Steam.
NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 … will receive a limited edition White Snow Editionwhich will include the game, three heavy metal Grimoire badges, and an audio compilation with a fully-voiced Replicant script. The two-disc steelbook is worth a separate mention. The first one contains music from the composer of the series Keiichi Okabe, and on the second, rethinking of melodies from third-party musicians will be available.
The White Snow Edition will be available for purchase in the US and Europe. At the same time, the western edition will receive an alternative cover (double-sided). Pre-orders are already available on the official Square Enix website.
Note that Replicant is the Japanese version of the game, in which the main character is the young man Nir, trying to save his sister. In the West, the game was changed at one time (Nier gestalt), so the main character there was a grown man named Nir, who was trying to save his daughter.
An updated version of the NieR Replicant boasts improved graphics and performance. In addition, the developers promise to revise the gameplay, which now strongly resembles NieR Automata…
Update. When pre-ordering digital NieR Replicant players get the opportunity to download the soundtrack. A dynamic theme and avatar pack will also be available on PS4, and a desktop wallpaper pack on PC.
