“Take care of yourself, we love you very much”: the organizers of IgroMir 2023 spoke about the fate of the Russian exhibition

Organizers of the Russian game exhibition “IgroMir 2023“and the festival Comic Con Russia 2023 continue to prepare for the show and do not cancel them. In any case, at this stage, things are just that way.

According to official reports, the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Russia is improving, and therefore the access control regime in Moscow is canceled from today. Shops open in stages, and cinemas will begin to work by mid-summer. As the organizers of IgroMir explained, this strengthens their hope for the possibility of holding an exhibition in October 2023, but it can still change.

“The exhibition team (like each of you) is wholeheartedly worried about IgroMir and daily monitors news reports about the virus. The access control regime will be canceled tomorrow in Moscow, cinemas will start operating again in the middle of summer, and stores will open in stages. This strengthens our hope for meeting in October, and we continue to work on the exhibition in standard mode.Of course, if the situation with the virus worsens, and the government decides to extend the ban on mass events, we will unquestioningly accept this as a fact. “, the message said.

The organizers of the exhibition also recalled that from March on sale are available IgroMir tickets. Everyone can support the event and pay for them now or postpone the purchase until calmer times.

“But know that we are preparing the Igromir 2023. We face difficulties and cope with them. We hope the world will also cope with what is happening. Take care of yourself, we love you. And we look forward to seeing you in October.”

IgroMir 2019 and Comic Con Russia 2019 received over 183 thousand people in four days of work. The arrival of the Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima in Moscow caused a real stir. He personally introduced his game to the audience. Death stranding.
