Almost a year after release Grounded in early access developers from the studio Obsidian Entertainment announced that the survival sim will now receive less updates.
The authors note that the extra time will make the updates more meaningful, including through major innovations. In doing so, the team intends to find the right balance to keep the game fresh.
Now the developers are working on update 0.10.0, which is called one of the largest. Here are some upcoming changes:
- the ability to flip some parts of the building to get a mirrored version;
- more building details, including more curved walls, more roof and column options.
- giant food items will be found more often;
- new features of the photo mode, including the ability to change the time of day;
- sprint while climbing stairs;
- transition to the latest version of the Unreal engine (4.26.2).
The release of the update is scheduled for the end of June.
