Steam Improves PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller Support

Valve has released a new update for SteamThe latest update is currently only available in the beta client and expands the capabilities of the controller DualSense, for which initial support was added to PC last week.

After installing the update, users have access to additional functions of the PS5 gamepad, such as gyroscope, touchpad, backlight and vibration… However, there are still some unresolved issues in beta. For example, onscreen prompts for DualSense buttons are still indicated by Xbox, and vibration in games, according to users, only works when the controller is connected via a wire.

We hope that Valve will correct this in the release version of the update, but whether the games will use new features of the gamepad, such as tactile feedback and adaptive triggers, is a separate question.
