Square Enix Reshuffle: Yoshinori Kitase Now Runs Final Fantasy Brand

In the senior management of the Japanese publishing house Square enix there have been adjustments. Shinji Hashimoto, former brand manager of the franchise Final Fantasy, resigned from himself – now his position will be occupied by screenwriter and producer Yoshinori Kitase… The corresponding announcement was made as part of a recent event dedicated to multiplayer Final fantasy xiv

In company Shinji Hashimoto coordinated brand development Final Fantasy since 2005 – he has served as an executive producer on all the latest installments of the franchise, and also participated in the production of the role-playing game The World Ends With You and several parts of the series Kingdom hearts

After leaving his previous position, Hashimoto will continue to remain in Square enix as one of the members of the board of directors.

In turn Yoshinori Kitase started working in Square enix even at the dawn of the 90s of the last century. The developer gained wide popularity while working on the original Final fantasy vii – then he acted as the senior project manager and one of the scriptwriters.

Today Kitase is actively involved in the work on new releases of Final Fantasy. In particular, the specialist, together with Tetsuya Nomura directs the development of the universe Final fantasy vii remake
