Publishing house Ubisoft decided to join the number of companies preparing large expensive games for helmets of virtual reality. According to a new announcement, the German wing of the company is assembling a completely new team to develop an ambitious AAA-class VR project. Now a team of specialists needs a narrative designer.

He will take part in the creation of the plot of the game “according to one of the most famous Ubisoft franchises.” Development will be carried out using “advanced VR-technologies” with the support of several Ubisoft studios.

Last summer, the network appeared gossip that Facebook has signed a partnership agreement with Ubisoft, under which VR projects will be released for Oculus Rift helmets in TV shows Assassin’s creed and Splinter cell.

Then it was reported that in addition to financing games in well-known franchises, Facebook allegedly wants to release its own projects similar to the most popular representatives of the industry, for example Fortnite.

The release dates of the ambitious VR-game AAA-class from Ubisoft are not called.
