Sony forbids fans of PS4-exclusive Dreams to create games with Mario at the request of Nintendo

Company Sony started notifying sandbox users Dreams on the ban on attempts to recreate Mario’s game models and design of amateur projects with a popular character from Nintendo. About this from your Twitter page reported one of the enthusiasts under the nickname PieceOfCraftwho assembled a ruler made in the style of games Super mario level along with a mustachioed plumber.

According to him, he received an email from Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, which said that Nintendo opposed the use of its intellectual property in the constructor of Dreams.

In a correspondence with users of the network, PieceOfCraft also explained that he can no longer edit his creation, since it contains copyrighted material and other players will not be able to find and play it. The gamer likened it to a slap in the face.

Nevertheless, given the current situation, the enthusiast said that he has a backup plan that he will reveal this Monday during his stream.

It is noteworthy that at the moment some other projects using elements from games about Mario are still available in Dreams, including Super Mario HD, launched by users 12,214 times, or, for example, Super Mario Infinity [Demo]which have already been tested 72,580 users.
