Colin Solo Ernist:

“I was very lucky that our general manager Nicholas Fan believed in me and put a lot of effort into getting me into the team. I will do everything in my power to justify his trust and show how grateful I am for this opportunity. Before the scandal with Echo Fox ended, I promised that no matter what team signed me up, I will do my best to show everyone else how wrong they were about me. ”

Over time, Solo became the reserve player of the main FlyQuest squad, and at the end of March replaced the topper Omrana V1per Shawr in several matches of the group stage of LCS Spring 2023. He also played in the first round of the playoffs against Evil geniuseswhere his team lost 1: 3.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all matches of the final phase of LCS Spring 2023 are held online. In an interview, Solo also told how it felt like returning to the team office after solo training and how he perceived the league’s transition to quarantine.

Colin Solo Ernist:

“Honestly, this is terrible. Especially because I have been in this position since leaving Echo Fox. I played from home for almost half a year, so it was damn nice to come to the office and meet other guys from the main team and the academy. Many professional players love eSports because they can be near people who share their views and goals.

I really missed the team atmosphere, communicating with friends and playing in the league, so I tried to fully enjoy it. Then, after about a week or two, we were told that the office would close due to COVID-19. It was very sad. Only I returned to the fact that I really love how I was again forced to become a couch potato. I know that many people have problems with this – they break down the usual communication, and they lose contact with teammates. It’s difficult, but on the other hand, all teams are in the same conditions, so you need to accept these problems and just move on. ”

Final LCS Spring 2023 was supposed to be held in Los Angeles in the closed studio Riot Games, however, due to the aggravated situation with a pandemic in the United States, the matches will be held online.
