The developers themselves announced this on Twitter, although they did it in a veiled form: they published a small video with skateboarders and signed it as the name of the PC_confirmation.exe file (PC confirmation).

No other details were disclosed. The formal announcement of the new Skate took place back in June last year, but the project is at an early stage – the developers only in January finished form a studio.
