“Lucifer” may extend for another season – review

Media reports that the series “Lucifer”who moved from Fox to Netflix could get another season.

Comic Book Based Project DC, began to appear in 2016 and existed on Fox for three seasons, after which the channel decided to close. At this point, Netflix burst onto the scene, grabbing the series and extending it for another two seasons.

The fifth season, which will be released on Netflix in two parts, was supposed to be the end of the story. But it is possible that the project will be able to live a little longer. Service representatives began negotiations with Warner Bros. TV – their successful result could be a potential extension of the series.

One of the reasons for this decision was probably the popularity, which the show retains not only among its fans, but also, obviously, on Netflix itself.

The plot of the series tells about the everyday life of the Devil, who decided to resign as guardian of Hell and moved to a permanent residence in Los Angeles. There he began to help in the investigation of various crimes, at the same time sorting out the problems of his supernatural family.

By the way, in the comics, the character appeared in the series “Sandman” Neil Gaiman, film adaptation of which is also engaged in Netflix. Her showrunner is Allan Heinberg (Wonder Woman, Trap, Anatomy of Passion).

The exact release date for the two parts of the fifth season Lucifer not yet, but each half will consist of eight episodes.
