SEGA Fan Gifts: The Company Celebrates 60 Years With A Steam Giveaway

SEGA continues to celebrate its 60th anniversary, in honor of which the company announced the giveaway on Steam. Before 19th October the publisher will distribute every day one new mini-game that was developed specifically for the anniversary

Starting today, Steam users can pick up for free Armor of heroes by Relic Entertainment… This is a tank arcade game in the style of the cult Battle City, based on Company of Heroes. The game has four levels with destructible environments, which can be played alone or in co-op for up to four people. Also announced a PvP mode for multiplayer competitions.

Available for download tomorrow Endless zonecreated by the Amplitude Studios team. This is a side-scrolling space shooter inspired by the classic Fantasy Zone.

Distribution starts on October 17th Streets of Kamurocho by Empty Clip Studios… This is a bitemap in the spirit of Streets of Rage, featuring Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima from the Yakuza series. A cooperative for two people is supported.

The last game in the distribution will be Golden Axed: A Canceled Prototypeby The Eccentric Ape… The project is one of the levels of the canceled Golden Ax reboot in 2.5D. SEGA Australia worked on the game earlier this decade, which also relaunched Altered Beast and Streets of Rage, but was shut down in 2013. It will be possible to pick it up from 18 October.
