Alexander s1mple Kostylev

Perhaps not a single rating like this can do without Natus Vincere sniper Alexander s1mple Kostylev. This year at IEM Katowice, the Ukrainian defends the title of champion with his team, and the esportsman himself defends the title of MVP of the tournament, and he does it more than successfully. Kostylev finished last year’s championship with an individual rating of 1.33, and after seven maps in the group stage at the current tournament, s1mple comes with a rating of 1.39.

Sh1ro’s individual statistics will impress anyone: in his very first top-tier tournament, he topped the IEM Katowice 2023 rankings on six indicators! The main one is the number of clutches won. Sokolov remained the only live player of his team 13 times and gave the opponents a round only once. The Russian sniper regularly “cleans up” after teammates, which makes him even more useful for the Gambit Esports roster. However, on February 26, sh1ro will face a duel with CS: GO raid boss s1mple, in which the future MVP of the championship will most likely be determined.

Abai HObbit Khasenov

HObbit, like no one else, knows how to win in Poland. And although the current IEM Katowice is being played online, the tournament is somehow tied to a European state. Four years ago, Khasenov raised the Major’s trophy in Krakow over his head as a newcomer to the professional CS: GO scene, and in 2023 he leads young players as an experienced leader. HObbit is doing great: the roster has successfully reached the playoff stage, surpassing the expectations of all experts.

Team Spirit owes much of its success in the Polish championship to its newcomer Abdul degster Hasanov. We have already written about this esportsman in an article about young players worth paying attention to at IEM Katowice 2023, but degster’s game at the group stage literally forces us to remember him again.

The most important distinguishing feature of Hasanov is that he is a real “plowman” who does not want to stop there. Early in the morning of February 24, two days before the start of the playoffs, degster launched a stream on which he trained in Deathmatch mode for six hours. Just think, an esportsman spends a quarter of his day on shooting practice, despite the fact that he also has a team training ahead of him. It is not surprising that Hasanov, together with Team Spirit, show such crazy results. Degster is facing the most important exam of his career, but he has already won the hearts of fans around the world.

Jami Jame Ali

No matter how much the community jokes about Jame and his love for saves, Ali continues to systematically move towards his goal. The Virtus.pro roster is firmly in the top ten of the world rankings, and Jame itself continues to amaze viewers with individual statistics. At the end of the group stage, the sniper scored 1.3 and now occupies the third place among the best players in the championship. The main difference between the Russian and all the aforementioned cybersportsmen on this list is that Ali fulfills the duties of the captain, which makes him a unique find for his team. A good captain is half a victory in CS: GO, and if he also gives out such numbers as Jame, then the ceiling for such a team is heaven.
