Roger Craig Smith returned to voice acting for Sonic – 4 months after leaving

At the end of January, it became known that Roger Craig Smith would stop voicing Sonic – the reasons were not reported, but the actor became very popular among the fans of the character and the news became extremely unpleasant.

However, exactly one day before the start of the presentation in honor of the 30th anniversary of the character, the actor announced his return to the role.

I cannot fully express my gratitude to the Sonic team and community. Hope to honor your support and enthusiasm as I return to voicing the blue hedgehog in games. I can’t wait to show what we’re planning.

Thank you so much from my blue heart
