Company Rockstar games named the games that will be available on Xbox Series X / S and Playstation 5… Both consoles will be able to launch all projects at launch without optimization from the developers – accordingly, if improvements appear in them, then only at the level of backward compatibility.
Besides Grand theft auto v, Red dead redemption ii and L.A. Noire, on consoles of the new generation it will be possible to play all projects available on current consoles. This includes games from Xbox 360 and Xbox Original, including:
- Bully: Scholarship Edition
- Grand theft auto iv
- Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Midnight Club: Los Angeles
- Red dead redemption
- Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis
And also L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for PlayStation VR and Rockstar’s line of PS2 games released on PS4:
- Bully
- Grand theft auto iii
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Grand theft auto: vice city
- Manhunt
- Max payne
- Red dead revolver
- The warriors
All games can be continued from the place where they left off by transferring save files…
At the moment, Rockstar has no plans to update its games for new consoles, other than the already announced re-release of Grand Theft Auto V, which will be released on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 in the second half of 2023.
