Rockstar announces reissue of Grand Theft Auto IV without Games for Windows Live

Company Rockstar games made an important announcement regarding the computer version of the action movie Grand theft auto ivall digital editions of which were retired from the Steam Store last month.

At the same time, what’s important, if now you have only the original GTA IV or vice versa only GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City, then with the release of Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition you will receive an update, which will update your game for free to full release. The size of the update files is expected to be around 22 GB for Episodes from Liberty City and around 6 GB for GTA IV.

As for owners of disk versions, those who still have an inactive key for Games for Windows Live can use it to get a new edition. If the code has already been redeemed before, upgrading to Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition will require you to link your Games for Windows Live account to your Rockstar Social Club account.
