Riot Games makes changes to the Valorant anti-cheat system – details

Company Riot games continues trying to negotiate with the community Valorant regarding the work of anti-cheat Vanguard. Recall that he is established as a driver that checks PC while playing a shooter for fraudulent software. But precisely because the anti-cheat is always on and so deep into the system, users are worried about the security of their data.

In a future update, Vanguard will begin to appear in the system tray during operation. Users will be able to close or delete it if they want. However, then they will not be able to play Valorant without rebooting the PC (and reinstalling the anti-cheat in case of removal). The application will also show notifications if it detects suspicious software.

Currently, Riot Games continues to track Vanguard bugs and test anti-cheat in different conditions in order to eliminate problems this summer.
