Ethan Winters from Resident evil 7 will become the central hero Resident evil 8, but total playable characters in the new horror from Capcom there will be three. This was told today by an insider Dusk golem, previously reported on the imminent official announcement of the game.
According to the informant, Ethan will take the most on-screen time – 50-60% of the entire Resident Evil 8. Another 30-40% of the game we will pass for the second protagonist, the rest – for the third character.
The gameplay for each of the three characters is slightly different. At the same time, Dusk Golem clarified that in Resident Evil 8 there is only one common campaign.
Based on past posts by Dusk Golem, Chris Redfield will be the second playable character in Resident Evil 8, and the third, presumably there will be a girl named Emily whom Ethan will meet in a mysterious village.
Dusk Golem said earlier that Resident Evil 8 grew out of Resident Evil Revelations 3. The new game should be the “darkest and most frightening” in the series.
