Resident evil 8 announced at the presentation of games for the PlayStation 5. The game received a subtitle Village and will be released in 2023 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC.
The game takes place several years after the final Resident evil 7. Ethan and Mia meet Chris Redfield again, whose actions lead to Ethan finding himself in a mysterious and snowy village.
