Reminder: Sony will shut down DriveClub’s PS4-exclusive server in a week

At the end of March last year Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the planned closure of the race Driveclub. The first step in ending support was the removal of the game from the PlayStation Store. Project and all related DLCs, including DriveClub VR and DriveClub Bikes, disappeared from digital sales on September 1, and next week Sony will forever close the DriveClab server.

It will happen April 1st in 02:59 in Moscow, after which all online functions and game modes will no longer be available. Gamers will not be able to use their seasonal subscription to play online, represent their own club in online competitions and tours, play and test in multiplayer, create their own events, take places in the leaderboards and share statistics. Online related achievements will also be closed.

At the same time, users will still be able to use the Season Pass for all single player offline modes, continue playing all games (DC, DC VR and DC Bikes) and add-ons in single player offline modes and win prizes in the single player. This also will not affect the download of the game and related content from the PSN.

Today, the servers were also shut down at the Mortal Kombat 9 fighting game on the PlayStation 3..
