Re-release of DOOM 64 will include a new campaign that can link history with DOOM Eternal

As a bonus, all pre-orders Doom eternal will receive a refurbished Doom 64however, the scale of the reprint was larger than originally expected.

Moving the shooter to modern platforms Nightdive studios, who added a new story chapter to the project – her events unfold after the finale of the main story, which in itself occurs after DOOM II: Hell on Earth.

In the story, after the destruction of the Mother of all demons, it turns out that she had a sister who is unhappy with what happened in the Underworld and is trying to send Dumgai away. Perhaps she imprisoned the protagonist in the sarcophagus, which was opened in 2016.

Judging by the words of the developers, the new chapter of the franchise will become quite important, as it will “reward information on the mythology of fans of both classical and new” DOOM. Apparently, the campaign will more closely link the events of the classics (1993-1997) and restart (2016-2020).
