Analyst Daniel Ahmad posted on Twitter that temporarily stopped work in China this morning Playstation network. The timing of the renewal is not indicated, as for the reasons, it says the need to update the security system, but details are not given.
According to the expert, the backdoor, which was reported just before the shutdown, could become the reason. He allowed Chinese gamers to use foreign system options, some of which are officially banned in the Middle Kingdom.
Ahmad said that the service has only government-approved games, so it’s unlikely that PSNs were turned off due to any single project.
Officially, the Chinese authorities did not comment on the situation.
