The alpha preload window appeared on September 17, 18:00 Moscow time in the main menu of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or Warzone. After that, it will be possible to select the alpha version of the game in the menu and be one of the first to play in several modes of multiplayer battles on four new maps.
The most popular online modes will become available to players, such as “Team fight”, “Murder Confirmed” and “Superiority”… Fans are also waiting for new activities, for example, “Combined Arms Training: Team Battle” – new 12×12 mode similar to classic “Team fight”, which will be available on two large maps with the ability to use different vehicles.
Alpha testing will last until September 20, 20:00 Moscow timeand all participants will receive exclusive call signs.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer launch took place last week.
The most interesting from the presentation of the online game Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War:
- Secret Agents and Illegal Operations – Players will be able to select experienced operatives from different parts of the world and participate in classified operations.
- “Bodyguard” – A completely new 6×6 game mode, which requires team play skills. Players will have to protect or destroy targets randomly identified by the game.
- “Combined Arms Duty” – 12×12 game mode, in which players will fight both on foot and using vehicles.
- “Fire group” – another new multiplayer game mode, in which 10 teams of 4 players will fight each other on unique maps with different types of equipment.
- “Creating a class” – now easier and better: players can easily create powerful classes by choosing main, spare, tactical, lethal weapons, as well as various perks, jokers, etc.
- Jokers – yes, they are back.
- “The gunsmith” – expands the pool of sheds for each weapon to 54 and allows you to equip your weapon with eight different sheds. For the first time, players will be able to place eight crossings at once by selecting a specific Joker.
- Field Upgrades are part of the Class Creation system, with which you can gain access to combat tools from the Cold War, including anti-aircraft guns, a communications jammer, and proximity mines.
- The series of glasses are here again in a new incarnation. Points are no longer lost when the performer dies, and players can earn point multipliers for multiple enemies killed without dying.
- Cross-platform play, cross-platform playthrough and multi-generational support will unite fans of the series from different platforms of different generations and allow them to play with their friends on the current and next generation consoles and PC.
