PlayStation – FOR ALL Players: Sony Congratulates LGBT Community on Pride Month

Team Playstation expressed on her official Twitter page support for representatives of the LGBT community and congratulated them on the Pride Month, which is celebrated annually in June.

“This month and every month, the PlayStation congratulates ALL players. Happy Pride.”

In its report, Sony emphasized the word “EVERYONE”, implying that the PlayStation is really happy for everyone and the company is against homophobia.

Each year, the platform holder celebrates the Month of Pride in one way or another, not limited to congratulations on social networks and changing the logo to rainbow colors. For example, gamers were handed out in the American segment Playstation store system theme with rainbow symbols. In addition, a stylized merchandise came out and there was a place to be sponsoring a gay pride parade in London.

In the recently released PS4-exclusive The Last of Us: Part II touched on the topic of same-sex relationships, which caused a great resonance among some groups of players, but this did not affect the high ratings of new items and excellent sales.
