Valve canceled the restart of Artifact – Igromania

Valve after a year and a half of work on the restart Artifact decided to cancel the project – the game does not attract a lot of active users, so further production was considered inappropriate.
There are now two versions of the card game – the classic and the relaunch beta. The developers decided to leave both options available, so everyone can try them for free. The first is called Artifact Classic and Artifact Foundry

The latter, as noted by Valve, will remain “unfinished products” without the necessary polish, but the gameplay basis is in place.

In both versions of “Artifact” the ability to purchase cards for a fee will be disabled – now they can only be obtained by playing. At the same time, the cards already purchased have become collectible – and they can still be traded on a special site Steam.

Notably, EA and BioWare recently canceled the restart Anthem
